Tri State July 31st - Northern Kentucky F-Body Association Forums

Some of the guys from the club are going to Tri State on the 31st if anyone wants to go. My son just got a 72 Mustang Coupe with a 302 in it. We are going to see if we can shoot the rods through the sides of the fenders.

I think I'm going to go & watch. A few of the guys have some pretty fast old big block Nova's & such & I don't want to miss the nitrous explosion with the Mustang.

sounds good I will go if I can , but I'll have to get directions unless Tris-State is the track off 128 then I know where thats at , never been there but passed it many times .

I believe it is 128 and it's just east of Ross, Oh and Colrain Ave.

Joe I think it's $15, not 100% sure though

We didn't toss the bottle in it yet. I'm sure I can shoot a piston through the fenders though with the 514 gears. I going to push it a little hard to get almost through the 1/4. I don't run 1/8 and don't have time to change the gear right now. If it stays together then cool. If we ventilate the block I guess that means we can toss in a 454 Chevy

I opened the Mustang up to see what it would do. It felt slow so I don't think it will produce any good numbers. Aryan just wants to see what it will do before turning it back streetable. I'm already tired of climbing over the roll bar. After Saturday we are going to tear into it.

I'm leaving Newport around 4pm. I'm going to taking it easy going up there. Gates open at 4:30. Most of the guys from the Scrounger CC will be there at 4:30 or a little after. I'll be towing a Mustang with a Red 73 Chevy stepside that says Stewart's Speed & Customs on the door. If you see it sitting with a group of guys that's us. If you are in Ky you can meet a few of us here at my house and follow us up. What ever anyone wants to do. If anyone wants to meet here drive up together my addres is:
